Paint Coverage Guidelines
To minimise the chances of buying too little or too much paint here is a paint calculator to help you.
All calculations are based on flat surfaces as doors, windows and alcoves can differ on the amount of paint used.
With furniture, there are various preparations that need to be made before hand. Walls that are porous or freshly plastered are likely to require additional coats. You may notice immense colour transformations when painting light to dark or dark to light and may need additional coats. This can be minimised by using the correct primer or undercoat.
The below table offers guidance to the maximum coverage for all of our paint finishes. Coverage is also dependent on thickness of application and surface. Please note this calculator is only suitable for calculating paint for walls only.
